As Malta is part of the Schengen Area Agreement, investors enjoy visa-free travel within the Schengen Zone, with no visa applications required before travel.

Residence under this program requires a minimum €250,000 investment in Maltese stocks and shares for a period of 5 years, and a €30,000 non-refundable contribution with an additional property investment between €50,000-€320,000.

Residency cards are issued for 5 years and are renewable indefinitely provided the investor maintains a Maltese address.
